Mobile power for creative freedom

To showcase the benefits of using Wattsun, we took a look behind the scenes. The challenge? Creating an impressive light show at a location without a fixed power supply. In the past, you might have had to knock on a neighbor’s door to borrow a power cord, but Wattsun now offers the freedom to film anywhere without worries. Arno Kwint, Co-Founder of Merged.CC, summed it up perfectly: “A few years ago, I would have knocked on the neighbor’s door to ask if we could run a cable inside. But those days are over.”

The setup

Using five Wattsun Docks and two Wattsun Packs, Merged.CC was able to work completely independently. The result? A creative environment where filmmakers could fully focus on their work, without worrying about cables in the frame or power supply issues. Thanks to the immediate deployability of the Wattsun Dock, which was easily placed next to the lights, they always had enough power on hand.

In total, two skypanels, two 300 W LED lights, and a client monitor were powered by the Wattsun modules. This allowed Merged.CC to concentrate on what truly matters: creating an amazing brand video.
