Sustainable energy is a must in today’s world. However, companies and organizations worldwide still rely too often on outdated power generators. This usage is associated with a lot of air pollution due to emissions of CO2, nitrogen, soot, and fine particles. By using a battery, there is no air pollution on location. You work emission-free.
If you charge the battery with grey power, you emit between 10 and 18 times less CO2 than with a generator.
If you charge the battery with green power, you work completely CO2-neutral!
All batteries loses efficiency over time. To indicate this efficiency we use the term cycles. One cycle is the same as fully using the battery from 100% to 0%. To benchmark the amount of cycles a battery can handle, 80% is set as the maximum amount of battery degradation. For example, if you charge the Wattsun three times a week, you’ll only reach a 20% loss of capacity after 5 years. This means you can still fully utilize the power of the Wattsun, although the battery capacity will have slightly decreased.
