Tip 1: Don’t let your battery completely discharge.
Ensure that your Wattsun battery doesn’t completely run out. While it may occasionally be necessary to use the battery until the last percentage, for optimal condition, we recommend recharging the battery when it reaches 20%.
Tip 2: Don’t charge your battery to 100%.
It may sound counterintuitive, but it’s better not to fully charge your battery. If you don’t need the full capacity for your task, it’s recommended to charge the battery to 80-90%. Over time, fully charging the battery can result in capacity loss, reducing the battery’s lifespan. By not fully charging the battery, you can preserve its capacity for a longer period.
Tip 3: Store the battery at a half charge.
When not using the Wattsun for an extended period, it’s advisable not to store the battery fully charged or completely empty. Storing it at around 50% charge is optimal. A battery that is (almost) empty can become defective due to a chemical process if left empty for a long time. Additionally, storing a fully charged battery can lead to capacity loss.
If you plan to store the Wattsun for an extended period, it’s recommended to recharge it to 50% or slightly above every two months. Of course, using the Wattsun regularly is preferable.
